Back2Basickz - October Newsletter 2025

![]() Amanda Coombs, Executive Director, Back2Basickz Youth Support Services | Dear Back 2 Basickz Family, As the leaves change and we welcome the fall energy of October, I’m reminded of the resilience and creativity of our youth, who continue to inspire us every day. This month, we’re embracing new opportunities to connect, learn, and grow together as a community. At Back 2 Basickz, we are committed to providing programs and workshops that not only support our youth but also celebrate their achievements. From hands-on activities like our ‘Plants to Plate’ initiative to creative projects and skill-building sessions, our goal is to empower youth with confidence, knowledge, and a sense of belonging. We are also excited to continue fostering growth and empowerment through our We Rise program. This is a Holistic Mental Health & Wellness Program. The aim of this program is to give youth practical tools to manage their emotions, take part in culturally relevant mental wellness activities, and connect with peers in a safe, supportive space. As we move into the fall season, I encourage everyone to stay engaged, support one another, and take part in the opportunities we offer. Together, we can continue building a stronger, more connected community where our youth thrive and are recognized as the leaders of tomorrow. Thank you for being part of our journey. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming programs and events! Happy autumn, ![]() Amanda Coombs Executive Director Back 2 Basickz |
